is this a Fallout reference that I didn't catch? I've finished only the old, isometric Fallouts (1&2)..
good luck DePhoegon!

Have you played this game with the fan patches added? The one patch (finally!) restores Sulik's quest so you can rescue his sister! It also adds deleted areas and fixes a TON of bugs.
One of my favourite games of all time! I also enjoy the new Fallout games (haven't played New Vegas yet, however), but the first two Fallouts will always hold a special place in my heart.
War...war never changes. However, developers apparently do. ;)

shadowshiv, i don't recall playing it with the fan patch... I've finished Fallout 2 about 3 or 4 times like ~20 years ago. Was the patch already available then?
It's also one of my favourite games of all time :) along with other "old" games like The Secret of the Monkey Island 1 & 2, Baldur's Gate or Diablo. I've tried to play Fallout 3 when it was released, but my PC was outdated then and, after leaving the crypt, game was constantly crashing. Moreover, I don't quite liked the change to FPP from isometric, so I never tried to play it since then.
I've bluehearted you, so that you have more chances of winning one of your favourite games of all time :)

Man, you have to try Fallout 3. I have played several hours and it's impressive.
It's Fallout but in 3D!
Monkey Island I & II are part of my childhood, together with the Indiaana Jones games of that time.
Great Lucasfilm games.

I've got Fallout 3 on my PS3, if you're fan of Fallout 1 & 2 and recommend the third part, I may give it a try in a free time..
yeah, Lucasfilm games like Indiana Jones, Loom, Sam & Max... that was a great time and really great games!

Just try it for 100 hours... :D
No, seriously. Play it for 1 hour at least. The tutorial is like 15 minutes, showing some details that I think make great the game, but it might be boring and not a good example of what does offer the game.
To be honest, I didn't play Loom and Sam & Max. But I installed a weeke ago Monkey ISland and Indiana Jones games here, the original versions with voices (I think they name them Talkie". .I had to play them again!

kbronct, if you're recommending it so strongly, then I'll give Fallout 3 a try then..
I recall that my friend, with whom I often played couch co-op games on PS3, played it a lot and enjoyed it very much. I even remember that he showed me a place in that game called... "Megaton"? "Nuk-a-ton"?.. the future of which he had to decide at some point. The part he'd showed me was very falloutish. But on the other hand he never played old isometric Fallouts, so I never fully trusted his opinion ;)
IDK if such games a Monkey Island or Indiana Jones are still playable and enjoyable, if someone do not have sentiment to them. But for me they are, as they have great stories to tell :).
