It depends on what your aim. The longer the giveaway goes on, the more people will enter. Don't Starve will attract a lot of entries, so two days or more isn't really necessary (people will flock to this giveaway anyway), but it doesn't really matter. You can do whatever you feel like doing, a long or short timelimit, etc. ^^
In any case, I am happy to see your giving back and that you don't just stick to leeching ^^
