How? I don't. Do you use Steam'ss new hidden games function.
I do, but there is no store page for some regions, so steamgifts can't check through the API. (iirc) (Germany in my case).
Also what's new about hiding owned games? This exist for over a decade now 😉

You were right, I rechecked in the steam client, and it were set as private. Sorry about the confusion. I'm glad, that I countercheck every entered GA anyway 😅
Pretty concerning if that setting makes all games set unowned :(
