If they gave more chance to commenters the scripting and botting problem we already have would be huuuuuuge
and some people don't like the notification spams they get when making giveaways. It'd be terrible for them and might drive them out of making giveaways if the number of comments were to improve.

I generally don't comment unless I have something specific to say but since it seems you appreciate comments, I thank you for the opportunity. It's not that I don't care but I don't want to be one of those people who dumps a generic 'thanks for the whitelist giveaway <name> hope to win wthog ^^' into each giveaway and I'm not really creative enough to come up with something unique for each and every giveaway I enter.
That being said, I do always thank the giveaway creator upon receipt of the game, as it's the polite thing to do.
