Sadly with steam direct, which is even worse than steam greenlight imo, more and more so called "games" are getting to the store. The ammount of trash games we have right now is appalling. At least this is a working game, unlike for ex. Achievement Idler: Black, which is literally a black screen and achievement farm.
Yeah, but it's like saying "he's not as bad of a person because he only killed 7 people instead of 15". In the end they're both awful, so why support them.
But I guess you're getting paid a lot of money to do this, so why not take advantage of it.
Indeed both games shouldn't be on steam in the first place, totally agree with that. The only "good" thing about "Snake Classic" is that it's actually playable. Not a game that's worth paying for, but if you get it for free it's worth trying out. It can be fun for first 10/15 min, then it's gets repetitive and boring. In the end it's pretty much an achievements farm, but with actual gameplay of some sort (even tho it's really basic). Also, i did not get paid a single bit (apart from the fact that i got one key for myself, not sure if you can call it "payment"), i just got keys to give away, hence there is this giveaway.
Wait, so if you don't think this is a good game, then why are you taking developers keys, make mass giveaways which garner a lot of attention on the site and promote their upcoming game which is a total asset flip? I thought that it was money because then you can say that it helps more than harms.
I dunno, it just seems weird to me, I guess.
Also, why do they have you make the giveaways if they can also make them themselves? I'll take it they look you up, not the other way around? So many questions :D

From what i've heard he can't make the giveaways himself, due to sg limit of gifts you can create (he said that he created a ticket to gain the "developer" status, but it was never answered).
