Race for the Galaxy! Lots of strategy to be enjoyed and not too much affected by randomness as the strategy is often involves timing and planning.

HAHAHAHA I would love to see somehow a parody like that, and that would explain why the stormtroopers wear mostly white armors…
Would be funny to find the ship names changed, like the Swastika Star (SS lol) or the Millennium Führer

Thank you for the very awesome giveaway! My fave board game is a tie between Munchkin and Dixit!
Although there are many others that I also love, like Pandemic, The Resistance and Dead of Winter, to name a few, cause the list could still go on and on :)

I don't play board games as much as I'd like to.
Probably Monopoly?

Probably Chinatown since it is fairly laid-back, totally recommend it if you don't want any challenge and just want to trade / co-operate with other players. Thank you for the GA too, appreciated!

Betrayal at House on the Hill is really fun, and every game is different! I also love Settlers of Catan - my parents had the original German version, and we used to play when I was a kid using a big stack of printed out translations for all the rules and pieces.

I've never really been much into board games, but I remember we had a lot of fun with Settlers of Catan in a summer camp about 15 years ago :D

You seriously want me to pick my favorite child?!
Jokes aside, I have way too many board games and I can't even pick my top 10. But from the top of my head: Letters from Whitechapel, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Robinson Crusoe, Cosmic Encounter, Patchwork, Sheriff of Nottingham, Sushi Go...

Sheriff of Nottingham and One Night Ultimate Werewolf are fantastic, will have to check out the others. (I've seen Sushi Go everywhere but never properly learned it.) Thanks for the recs!

Settlers of Catan maybe? There are tons mentioned here I've never heard of.

I enjoy a lot of different board games but I think Settlers of Catan deserves first billing, as it really opened up that world to me.

Santorini is mine, too bad that I utterly crush my wife so she does not want to play with me anymore.

I finally got my hands on it recently. Simple, yet so clever. And with all those different god powers... Just incredible.
