The smell of this new train car hits you the moment you open the door - the clean, sterile scent of a hospital. The walls are an unappealing off-white and all the seats seem to have some sort of protective plastic covering on them. As you move further into the car, the smell of disinfectant overwhelms you. Once or twice you think you catch a whiff of something else, hidden below layers and layers of soap and rubbing alcohol. The smell of burning wood, maybe? You inhale deeply, trying to find the source, but each time you do all you can smell is the disinfectant, nauseating in its intensity.
Eager to leave, you quickly head to the next cabin. As you open the door, you see a small shadow dart across the entrance.
Of course, you can always turn back.
