I hardly come around here these days. Fortunately, these notifications help keep track of replies. Anyway, don't worry about it. Everybody has done plenty of things they regret, for all sorts of reasons. As far as being dicked around by people goes, you're pretty low on the list -- probably something like a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10, if that. I'm not interested in hearing from you again (understandably, I think), but I appreciate that you at least made the effort to apologize.
