Thought someone here might not have this already, so I figured I'd give away one of my inventory copies. This comes in a bundle of two things: The Binding of Isaac and Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb. I've had this so long that it's called Unknown package 15408 lmao. Might as well gift it now!
This is incredibly good, in spite of being quite old and made in flash. It's a favorite of mine. I've got a ton of hours put into it.
I'll friend the winner, and send them the game and DLC to download and enjoy. Please only enter if you have neither game nor DLC.
Question: What's your favorite game soundtrack? Feel free to link to a favorite album, single, or music clip. I think Undertale's ost is pretty great, and The Binding of Isaac also has superb tunes.

I also love love LOVE Advent Rising's soundtrack.

That ain't how you get invited to private and whitelist giveaways, y'all. :awkward:
Comment has been collapsed.
Lol... Well, I guess most people are used to not commenting, specially because it's easy to get BLed around here for saying just about anything.
Comment has been collapsed.
That always sucks. I've been blacklisted for weird shit, so I get it.
It just sucks that folks are afraid of tame questions like this. In a perfect world, anything that isn't a nazi punk band shouldn't get you BLed.
Comment has been collapsed.
Sadly, the world is far from perfect, and SG specially so.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ahh, I remember the good ol' SG-days where comments flourished.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, so do I. Especially the ones on special giveaways.
Pepperidge Farm remembers, too.

Classic notice, that own both but can enter :/
For question - I ain't quite musical guy, I mean I ofc enjoy good soundtrack, but cant name any rn :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Thank you for that info! I'll be making sure to check, so that anyone with one or both won't get this. At the very least, the base game will show, and that's all I need to reroll. So says Mr Stewart
Understandable. My mind draws a blank sometimes, too.
Comment has been collapsed.
Whoops I already own this package, be sure to check your winner!
Favourite game soundtrack is a hard pick, kinda depends on if I'm in the mood for Nostalgia (like OoT's classic tunes) or if I wanna get pumped for something (many Fire Emblem tracks come to mind). Or just grabbing the Smash OST Collections for a mini randomizer of some of the best tunes haha.
Comment has been collapsed.
I sure will check my winner. Thank you for the heads-up!
Smash has some incredible tunes. Haven't played it in a while, but I do sometimes listen to the music. And OoT is a classic for good reasons.

Somehow I have never noticed game OST enough to actually like them. However, Witcher 2 OST was an exception. I liked it enough to add a few of them to my library.
Stardew Valley is another one. However I don't own its OST.
I have plated Undertale, and though it's OST was pleasant afaik, but not something I'd like to listen outside of the game too.
Comment has been collapsed.
Stardew Valley's music is what I listen to when I need a lil extra something to help get to sleep. It's so relaxing.
Comment has been collapsed.
This was my most recent attempt at picking a favourite soundtrack. As you can see, I am not good at picking just one. ^_^'
Anyhow, thank you for the giveaway. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
That's a lot of music. lmao I get it, though. When you listen to a lot of music, it's hard to pick just one. Or just ten.
You're quite welcome.
Comment has been collapsed.
I totally agree with the Undertale OST.
But for me it's hard to choose a favorite, there are many games with some great and memorable songs For me.
Sonic probably has the most even if the games don't always come out to great unfortunately. But i still enjoy them for the music ( https://youtu.be/UGTlBHNvjsU )
Comment has been collapsed.
Hard agree. Sonic has some of the absolute best music in any game series ever.
Comment has been collapsed.
I love the Two Worlds Soundtrack composed by Harold Faltermeyer (Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun, Tango & Cash,...)
Comment has been collapsed.
Ohhh, that's just lovely.
Comment has been collapsed.
I already own it but I like the question.
Witcher 3 and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night spring to mind.
Comment has been collapsed.
SotN has to be my favorite PlayStation 1 game, with about the best soundtrack of any game of that era. This one in particular is in my bedtime playlist.
Comment has been collapsed.
To begin with, I wanna thank you for the giveaway!
I think the OST of Satisfactory is the one I am enjoying the most right now, it's a perfect mix between "discovery" and "serenity".
But if I have to chose one in particulary, it would definitely be The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. As I child, I remember spending hours in this ingame shop where you could play the whole OST on a vinyl player.
I could also talk about Beyond Good & Evil or WoW ones. I think each game has its own music that do more or less the thing while playing it.
Comment has been collapsed.
You are so welcome!
Those are some really good picks. TLoZ always has a stellar soundtrack, and I love BG&E's music.
Haven't listened to much WoW and Satisfactory music before now, so I'll for sure check out what you've linked to.
Cheers!
Comment has been collapsed.
Haha, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
Have a nice day!

I'm not entering, because I already own both, so I'm just going to answer the question.
Music is very important to me and there's a lot of games with great soundtracks that I love, so it's hard to single out anything and pick a definitive "favourite" one, but I think if I had to absolutely answer this, the best answer would be works of Frank Klepacki, most well known for Command & Conquer series' soundtracks. It's probably overall my most listened to video game composer, and his music will never get old to me. Soundtrack of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is widely considered to be one of his best creations.

That C&C soundtrack is pretty dope.
Comment has been collapsed.
I love the soundtracks for To the Moon, Mafia 3 and Sexy Brutale.
Comment has been collapsed.
To The Moon's OST gives me The Feels. It's so good, the way everything ties in with the mood of the story. Especially Everything's Alright.
Comment has been collapsed.
my favorite game soundtrack is the one from hotline miami
it matches the vibe of the game perfectly
another song i love is the humming song from hunt: showdown
Comment has been collapsed.
The Hotline Miami series' music gets me so pumped to put a baseball bat to the heads of some goons. It's so damn good. Especially Miami, which perfectly sets the mood it's going for.
Comment has been collapsed.
this is how i discovered one of my all time favorite songs from that genre. it's turbo killer by carpenter brut, who did some songs for the ost of the second game.
Comment has been collapsed.
Just a reminder that they released couple songs for in-game gramophones and pianos, and some of them are as good as the humming song :3
Comment has been collapsed.
i have never played the game before so i'm not sure where to look, can you link me any good ones?
Comment has been collapsed.
Was going to mention Hotline.
Played Brigador yet?

i have not, even had it on my ignorelist on sg for whatever reason, must have been a fever dream because that soundtrack is banging
thanks for the recommendation, its on my wishlist now :D

Honestly, most of the Stardew Valley Soundtracks. There‘s one of them in particular, though, which I think is especially relaxing and really comfortable to listen to in the background. Whenever I play the game, I don‘t have turned on any music, wanting to listen to the games own soundtracks only. Probably one of the really few games I do that with.
Comment has been collapsed.
Same. I have the whole soundtrack on a bedtime playlist, too. It's just that calming.

This game has such a cool soundtracks: https://store.steampowered.com/app/65300/Dustforce_DX/

my recents favorite game soundtrack are Huginn's Shop from BPM: BULLETS PER MINUTE and Happy from Eastward, but one of my favorite all the time is surely soundtrack from BAYONETTA

Probably the most known game soundtrack outside gaming community: Doom (2016).
And on the contrary: Transistor soundtrack was amazing.

Favorite piece of game music has to be the Final Fantasy 6 opera scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pe3pGU9jcag

Already have it and can enter ( i do all achivement in both games xD) and my favourite ost is the binding of isaac antibirth
Comment has been collapsed.
Classic Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption had the soundtrack I still think of as something absolutely brilliant.
From newer games: The Witcher 3 - returned recently and I still find the soundtrack amazing.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh, and one more quite new gem that already became classic: Bastion. A soundtrack masterpiece.
Comment has been collapsed.
For those who haven't ever really listened to Bastion's soundtrack, go ahead and do so. It's incredible.

doom 2016! but most recently i loved the score in a plague tale innocence. they got exactly the right sounds out of those tortured violins
Comment has been collapsed.
Doom music is always good!
I haven't ever listened to A Plague Tale's OST, so I'm gonna go ahead and do that right now.

BIT.TRIP RUNNER & its sequels. Great, catchy tunes.
As for Binding of Isaac, I think I prefer the original ST to the remake soundtrack, but I'd have to go back and listen to be sure. I really like the flash version of that game. Hundreds of hours logged.
Comment has been collapsed.
I love the flash version, too. The soundtrack to it is amazing. Danny Baranowsky is mad skilled.

The Long Dark <3

I really need to do this game. The OST looks amazing!!!
The main theme kinda reminded me The Leftovers TV show. A true gem!

You should wait a while longer, they have to release one last story mode episode sometime in the future.
Comment has been collapsed.
Then, I'll wait a little bit longer before doing it.
Thanks for the information!

Haven't played that game, but the soundtrack is superb.

VVVVVV has an incredible soundtrack. My favourite is Popular Potpourri - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1zxRWDb4V4
As is very obvious by listening to it, it's a triumphal song, and plays once you beat the game.
Comment has been collapsed.
That's such a happy lil tune. It just makes me smile, listening to how bouncy and joyous it is.
Comment has been collapsed.
Already own the game and still can enter.
My Faves OST is definitelly the OST from all Supergiant games especially Pyre & Hades OST.
Hades - In the blood will always be my faves of them all especially when you hear it after the long story journey and the credit rolls appear with this song as BGM.
Pyre - Bound Together This one has a unique approach as OST, it has so many version depend on the character you ascends during the gameplay.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for the info. I'll be checking in with the winner's games library, to make sure they don't already own this.
Supergiant Games' stuff has some of the most amazing soundtracks.
