I got this game for Christmas by a kind Secret Santa and it was very interesting to play (and parts of it were eerily close reality). I have yet to read the book it was inspired by (so many books to read, it's almost as bad as my Steam backlog XD).

1984 by George Orwell - but afaik it's not not an adaptation or anything of the story, just inspired by the surveillance stuff in it (or something, I don't really know since I haven't read the book)
