The Gold Edition has base game + Barbarian Invasion, while the Collection also has the Alexander expansion.

If ZeroComfort is right then you should ask support to change the giveaway to Rome: Total War Gold Edition because the winner will have to mark the giveaway as not received even if you'll send them the game – if somebody would check if they've activated their win and won't found Alexander expansion, they'd be suspended for not activating the game at all.

It seems that you get the same items with the gold and the collection you are giving away so I think you are good to go with it as it seems the dev just renamed the gold edition as the collection.
