Oh, don't worry, it's not only about winning. I didn't really use RPG Maker but maybe if I gather some more DLC's with some more content I will give it a go.
You can make games similar to the original FINAL FANTASY I to VI games. You know, top down view classic RPG's with turn based ATB battle system. I guess it's pretty simple and anyone can do it (not saying that everyone will make a good game out of it though).
