Chả ram/nem rán (Vietnamese fried spring rolls) is one of my favorite dish. Crispy!

I heard it is called summer rolls in China.
In Japan, they are called spring rolls.
Incidentally, the Vietnamese version, unlike the Japanese one, seems to have a higher proportion of herbs and meat. Both are delicious.😋

Thank you for the links! It's quite embarrassing that I used to stay in Japan for a long time, but didn't have spring roll (春巻き) there yet, both fresh and fried variant. I'll try it the next time I come there.
I want to ask this question. Which one are you? I'm in favor of the 4th definition. From the Editct dictionary: 河童 (かっぱ)

🙄Oh..
By the way, 2, I personally am not that good a swimmer. I don't want to swim the 70 km/h rapids in the region I am in. I get swept away....😂
And 3 is my favorite.🤗🥒😋

Thank you for interesting facts about kappamaki (the cucumber sushi roll), and kappa (the creature).
Now I remember there is a conveyor bell sushi restaurant called Kappa Sushi (https://www.kappasushi.jp), that has cute mini bullet trains serving sushi disks to your seat.

There is an old urban legend that we are forced to work in the basement of that sushi restaurant.
📝
At Kappa Sushi, young kappas work in a factory in the basement of the restaurant for a single cucumber as the workforce for sushi production.

By the way, there is no sushi restaurant of this company in Hokkaido.
For a good conveyor-belt sushi chain, you can choose a good one if you know it has stores in Hokkaido.
