Thank you q00u(Phoenix) for the Command & Conquer remaster and quick answer. As I already told you, the original game has a special place in my gaming history and I'd be glad to finally give it a proper try and finish it.
In my age, nostalgia is a real thing and can rise gameplay experience pretty high. And it applies even for next games or remakes or re-imaginations or next games in the series.
For example the "new" Xcom games - I love them probably more, because I loved and finished the original one.
Half-Life Alyx - extreme emotional ride, not only because of VR (Index) and the fact, it's great game, but because the HL series is part of my gaming life.
Even playing not so new Stalkter Call of Prypjat now is great and I can forgive a lot, because I finished the first two games and still have unforgettable memories to the first game. I could go on and on with games like Baldur's Gate etc...
I just wanted to say thank you, because even though I love new games, I like to be "lost in the past" as well.
