Yeah, but I probably have to repurchase Freespace to try it, my old cd version probably doesn't work.

IF i'm not wrong in The forums/FAQ/wiki a the fanmade remake is a how-to tutorial to make it work site original cds... At least for freespace 2 CDs no sure it it Will work with Descent freespace ones.
