I actually finished this game completely, including the DLC and did all the achievements. You would think "Wow, that guy really had to love this game"..yeah, I started to play it because I had it in a different bundle and there were rewards for it on playfire (https://www.playfire.com/a/rewards) but I have to say to you guys, I was dissapointed in the game.
Why ? Because of all thinks that I expected from that game, I hoped it would be..funnier. It has its moments and Gabe cosplaying as Gordon Freeman appears, there is reference to Johnny 5 and that old cartoon "Dungeon and Dragons", thats cool but otherwise the game is not really all that funny. It should be. It isn't.
The gameplay and classes are solid but it gets repetetive. It worked for me the way that I had it in windowed mode while watching a tv-series in a window on the right (the music is repetetive so it wasn't much of a shame to play the game with no sound on).

The game indeed looks pretty fun. I've had it on my wishlist for a while. I hope I'll win it in one of the giveaways since I'm not interested in anything else from the bundle.

not gonna lie, I wouldn't probably buy it either but ..its humble bundle. Although I can't confirm it, I kinda like to think those money do go to charity. And with that buy, I can now give that game that doubled in my library and perhaps you will enjoy it :) Good luck

might be my fault - perhaps I was so hoping for a story that I created insane requirements that the game simply didn't meet. The game is pretty relaxing - the first steps are hard as you start of with really weak characters but later it gets nice..unless you want to do the achievement where you finish the game in 365 turns - then it gets bit more stressful ;p

the problem is that sooner or later, you will find a formula that works best for defeating all kinds of enemies and you will just use it over and over again. But then again, all final fantasy games were guilty of that too and no one complained ;p

Eh, I've never been much of a Final Fantasy fan. :p I've got FF7, FF8 and FF10, but there's only FF7 I have completed. (really loved it, btw)

to this day FF6 remains to me as my favourite FF game. It would probably be hard for most new players to enjoy it now since..it didn't age well. FF6 though had it all and one of the most awesome villains of FF, Kefka - that guy was so random it was scary. If it gets a remake (I don't remember if it did), I recommend it to you sincerely.

Badass is not the word I would exactly use. Kefka is more evil - Sephiroth is a type of villain that blocks the path of the heroes and pushes them down. Kefka is a guy who turns the heroes efforts to his own benefit and makes them more or less responsible for his victories. Sephiroth is straightforwad death and nihhilism and Kefka is chaos and anarchy.

I was about to buy this since it was on my wishlist but the Humble Bundle happened. Maybe it's repetitive and not so funny but I think I should at least give it a go. Thanks for the giveaway and your opinion about the game!
