Did you hijack my brain or what? My favorite genres are RPGs (Bioware, Gothic Series, Bethesda...) and Adventures (Lucas Arts, Deadalic, Telltale).
Years ago I also liked RTS Games - used to play a lot of Warcraft 3 for some years - but now I really suck at them, therefore I cannot stand them anymore.

Anything what has multiplayers can be enjoyable. Besides MOAB and MMORPG. First one I just don't like, from second I'm awere because I would probably spend to much time on it ;). Singleplayer - RPGs with great plot and world that u can believe in like Witcher2 or Mass Effect trilogy.

Shooters and RPG's are my favorites, I guess. But it's hard to really just dial it down to one or two. I'm quite fond of platformers as well.

Can't play MMORPG's, though. Damn things put me to sleep with their tedious quest design and static environments (this windmill has been on fire for five years!). Also not really a fan of the "MOBA" genre, they generally have some of the worst communities in gaming and I don't really enjoy the way they play.

Draw between ARPGs and SRPGs. Examples would be Titan Quest and Torchlight 2 for the first, Fire Emblem and Tactics Ogre for the latter.

Roguelikes have a special place in my heart though. Pretty ones at least.
