What you see here is 4 symbols. Others might not be so lucky.

I am terribly sorry. Two characters looked very similar so I have messed up the code and had to fix it.
To be fair, here is the original one for a hint:
,,:,--,-,',-''::--

This is highly confusing. 😭
I can't see it, no matter how I look.

Also if you lean your head left, you might see something familiar...

Is the picture part of the puzzle or just a hint?

It's just a hint, a reference for a certain dialog of the given scene.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

I think I got about 80% of it If I'm not totally wrong

You might be on the right track. Try breaking it into groups. Also expect the unexpected as certain things could have certain meanings. But you might have done that already. Maybe the only thing missing is a closer look at the description.

Made it here but now I'm stuck. Head on the left, yes I see, but then ? :p

I can tell that this is not encrypted, rather than encoded in some way. Actually you might have seen it in real life, albeit in a slightly different form.

It's a refreshing change after leeting us crunch our teeth clockwise, isn't it?

very funny doggos, I've laughed my ass off :)

Yeah, leaning your head left, rotating the puzzle clockwise, it's the same thing.
Cute dogs they're, the golden retrievers.

If you can't do this with less than 4 symbols then I don't think I get it. If you can, then I can't read them properly.

With different characters it would have been more confusing. Also they are just symbols, no matter what they look, the importance is in their meaning.

You misunderstood me I think.. I meant that you don't need so many symbols because the writing could be done with just 3 of them but If that's wrong then my theory is completely off track.

Nevermind, I think I'm done with this. Too much time consumed trying to figure out what the symbols represent in my theory and even the "unexpected" part isn't decoded properly or I really have not understood what each symbol stands for! It's now a match contest rather than a puzzle and not fun anymore :/

Even after reading all the hints, I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do here. I am only interested in Syberia, which is still a long way away, so I think this is where I will stop.

What you see is an 5-character SG code for the next giveaway, encoded somehow. To decode it, you have to rotate it clockwise, then break into pieces.
Also listening to the mood music and watching the funny video could bring you closer to the solution, and the tools here might be very helpful.

Currently there are no entries for Syberia 3. Every giveaway not taken will be relisted after the deadline as whitelist-only giveaways, open to everybody who got past the first puzzle and entered at least one of the puzzles or commented something.

Thanks for the help. The issue I am having is that I can't figure out how to break it up into pieces. I'll try looking through the dcode site, maybe that will help.

I'm not sure if you want to reveal the puzzle solutions, but if you don't mind, I am curious to know what the solution to this one was.

Thanks for the WL :)

Frustratingly fun, but I may be done at this one as well. Thanks for your time to put this together.

I think I'm even starting to develop a tic (but that didn't help me enough).

This turned out to be more trickier than I thought, but some of you could still solve it, congratulations! Was thinking about adding a Jigidi for this one too, but did not want to be unfair with the former solvers.
To begin with, the code has to be broken into parts. It consists of 18 symbols, an SG code has only 5 characters. 18/5=3, but 3 symbols still left, so actually there are 6 characters! This might seem strange, but is completely normal for this encoding (or at least for the international variant of it). To confirm the symbol-to-character ratio, the 2 encoded strings can be compared:
,,: ,-- ,-, ,,, '': :--
,,: ,-- ,-, ',- '': :--

Only 1 character differs as initially during the encoding I was believing my eye instead of copy-pasting. Bummer.
As the hints say, the symbols have to be rotated right. Taking a look at them, what could be seen is:

  • something up, which becomes something on the right
  • something down, which becomes something on the left
  • something up and down, which becomes something on left and right
  • and the 4th possibility is nothing on any of the sides - here the space character would have broken up the text making it very confusing, so I have chosen - instead.

The thing after breaking it up and rotating in place:

O_ O_ O_ O_ _O OO
O_ __ __ O_ _O __
OO __ O_ O_ OO __

The linked mood music is from the soundtrack of Daredevil (2003).
The funny video tried to give a hint about... holes which are never meant to be seen, just to be touched

Combine these and you get... Braille
Mikalye's Guide directly mentions it under a paragraph called Encode your message.

The thing above in Unicode is ⠧⠁⠅⠇⠼⠉, where the 5th character is the extra, and has the purpose of marking that the next character is not a letter, but a number.
In the decoded string the first and last letters are lower case.
