I like a lot of the droids including and beyond the star pair. L3-37 was great in Solo, and the droids that walk around have always been interesting to me but more so after learning some Chinese, since it sounds like it's saying, "Dog. Dog. Dog." to the lay-translation of my ears.

However, my favorite character is the living planet Zonama Sekot from the Force Heretic books. It produces organic ships, is Force-sensitive and has a massive hyperdrive running through it.

Probably Kyle Katarn (Dark Forces) and Marek Steele (TIE Fighter). These two games in 1994 together with Thrawn trilogy were things that pretty much made me SW fan, ever over movies :(
