This is Metrolijn A train to Vlaardingen West. The next station is Coolhaven.

This is Metrolijn B train to Hoek van Holland Strand. The next station is Coolhaven.
This is Metrolijn B train to Nesselande. The next station is Eendrachtsplein.

This is Metrolijn C train to De Akkers. The next station is Coolhaven.
This is Metrolijn C train to De Terp. The next station is Eendrachtsplein.

This is the station for Erasmus MC, according to Wikipedia the largest hospital in Holland (and quite certainly one of the ugliest). It used to just be called Dijzigt but that probably had no 'international appeal' which is thought to be so important these days (you won't believe how many English company names we have these days). Erasmus is probably the most famous Rotterdammer; and still most people won't have heard of him.

Nearby is the Euromast; our own fake Space Needle (predating the one in Seattle by a few years; both built for World Fairs, seems they stole our idea). It's a little easier to get off at Coolhaven and walk there but I already had lots of pics at that station so we're putting it here.

If you walk on from the Euromast you can get to the Maastunnel.
