It's not your responsibility to police the site, it's the moderators' - you don't get to call people out, it's actually against the rules. Trust me on that one, I've been here longer than you.
Reporting just gives the mods more work to do. And there's no guarantees that they'll get to it before a giveaway as quick as this one is over.
If it was a proven fake, I'd have no issues with reporting. I use it when I have to. But why would you report it if you could find out if it's fake or not yourself and clear that out for everyone?

The giveaway system is designed with a 7-day window for the giveaway to be delivered upon the end of the giveaway, after that, the giveaway is able to be considered a failure. You don't have any need to pester the poster of a giveaway, they have no need to answer to you. The points which constantly generate as giveaways are created are returned to you if a giveaway ends in a failure, this isn't some lost investment you need to hoard and protect.
As I say, you jumped in and played the douche, because you are a douche, and that's not your job.
