Was excited to find a hidden gem, solved then bumped into the black door of sgtools :(
I was so not expecting that seeing that the normal caravan wasn't.. (Own reasons, I never enter sgtools GAs, although I'd pass all basic rules).
Oh well..

I just had bad experiences with multiple wins several times before (I had to reroll several GAs up to 5times each) - that's the main cause why I tend to put unbundled stuff behind sgtool gates. Sorry! Put you on my whitelist in exchange for solving the puzzle - maybe I'll be able to afford some more unbundled stuff to give away next year. :)
I totally understand the frustration and why people turn to the tools as I've seen this situation or similar times and again. Just had to vent my frustration at bumping on the wall.. At least it wasn't a 500 piece jigidi so I wasn't mad or anything, but vent is vent..

It's fine to put SGT at your own discretion, but it'd be very respectful to people if you'd let them know the existence of one (and its conditions) before they spend time solving a puzzle, no matter how 'little' time it would take. :)

You could try to reveal the hint on the image. That hint might give you a clue to decipher the text without having to do it all on your own. :)
