I'm not hating on Samus, she's certainly cool, but Chief, without a doubt. He was literally raised for combat since he was a kid and has been enhanced in many ways, not to mention the guy has this special sort of luck thing going on. Though, I don't know much about her, Samus is just a bounty hunter with some military background. Even if you say suit-wise that they're an even match, John has the upper hand, immensely so, and Samus would stand little to no chance against a spartan like John.

Samus, since she just needs to mess with just an arm cannon.

Haloid has already shown us that they would fall madly in love and destroy every alien in all the evers.
