Everyone can ask the prisoner behind them which color is his hat, and then the last one by elimination will know which color is his

or maybe they cant ask that?

The prisoners tell the person infront of them the colour of their hat. The person at the back has a 50% chance of calling out the correct colour. Maybe slightly higher since he can see a pattern if there is one.

Edit: The guy at the back breaks the rules and tells everyone else.

The last prisioner says what colour is the hat in front of him... that way the man in front of him knows the colour of their hat... 99 saved and the first who spoke have 50% chance to be saved too... is that the solution???? thanks for the giveaway sorry for my bad english.... im portuguese

The back prisoner will yell "black" if there is an odd number of black hats in front of him and "white" if there is an even number of black hats in front of him. The next prisoner will then count the number of black hats in front of him and if it was odd and is now even, or vice versa, then that person knows what color their hat is. The next person then knows their hat color based on what the people before them said and how many black hats are in front of them. In this way the front 99 prisoners will know their hat color and will be set free. The prisoner in the back who goes first has a 50 percent chance of being set free. (I used google cuz too lazy)

I think I have heard about this...
The 100 person need the said "black" if they see odd number of black hats and ":white" if they see even number of black hats in front of him
Then the rest of them will be able to deduce it? xD
