This is Metrolijn B train to Nesselande. The next station is Blaak.
This is Metrolijn C train to De Akkers. The next station is Eendrachtsplein.
This is Metrolijn C train to De Terp. The next station is Blaak.
This is Metrolijn D train to De Akkers. The next station is Leuvehaven.
This is Metrolijn D train to Rotterdam Centraal. The next station is Stadhuis Rotterdam.
This is Metrolijn E train to Slinge. The next station is Leuvehaven.
This is Metrolijn E train to Den Haag Centraal. The next station is Stadhuis Rotterdam.
This is the only subway station in Rotterdam where all five lines meet. It sounds more grandiose than it is as there are only four tracks; two running North-South and two East-West; there is a lot of line sharing going on as you can see from the maps.
Keep in mind that unlike the London and Berlin trains I decided to do just one giveaway per station, no matter how many lines stop at it. This way we can get a bit further afield and with all the track sharing it would have been pretty boring too.
This station exits to the ' Beurstraverse' but everyone calls it the 'Koopgoot' ('Buy Gutter'). It's sort of like an open to the sky stripmall below street level crossing the Coolsingel,

I've found 113 stations (not counting bonuses) and I'm not even sure I haven't missed any.
By comparison, Auckland, New Zealand's largest urban area with well over a million people living there, has 19. That city is a hellhole when it comes to transport. Every bastard in their own car, clogging up the motorways for three hours a day. Everyone yelling we have to do something but every time someone suggests a solution a thousand NIMBYs (https://www.wordnik.com/words/nimby) come out of the woodwork and scuttle it.
Oh and everyone has to have their "quarter acre patch" - a freestanding house on 1000m2 of land. Causing nightmare levels of urban sprawl. There are some apartments being built in the city centre but there is still a stigma about living somewhere like that. Even rows of attached houses are looked down on. "Oh god no, I can't share a WALL with someone!!!"
Good grief I ramble on. :D

I don't get why people would want so much land, you just have to spend time and money to keep it tidy...
