As for your channel, the name kind of had me worried for a bit (the gaming community can be problematic when it comes to how it treats women sometimes), but then I read your description and realized where the name came from. Marilyn was great and I love how your whole channel has that mid-century vibe and keeps her as an element throughout. This era is actually my favorite era. The style, the music, the feel of it (though a troubled time no doubt).

I will check out your Bioshock videos. It's one of my favorite games, for the reasons mentioned as well as the story. :D If you are interested in adventure games and noir style ones, you could play those and sort of make that a theme. Or have an "oldie-weekend" or something like that. You're the kind of channel I'd expect to see something like 'White Night' on. :) Best of luck with it!

Thanks for the great feeback! Yeah, I can understand your initial concerns with the name and such, but if you want to know the backstory it was a 'tag name' of sorts I got from my friends back in college because they knew I was a fan of Marilyn Monroe and that era, and it just kind of stuck. So you'll find a lot of references to 'Prefers Blondes' connected to me, even though I don't judge a woman by her hair colour, and I certainly think the games industry could do better with female characters (although I think things are starting to change).

I didn't get to record much BioShock before I had to sit my exams and leave for university, but if you like them I'll certainly get around to playing it again when I get back this summer. :)
