Description

One more for the generous souls :)
Hope you'll enjoy it ^_^
Instead of thanking the GA, tell me if you play pen & paper RPGs, and if so, which one's your favorite ruleset (& setting)?

I love RPG's, my favorite genre, but only on PC
Thanks even though you dont want any, just a habit

I've never played PnP RPG's but I used to have the 2nd and 3rd edition rulebooks for MechWarrior.

Yes, MechWarrior was a PnP RPG a long time ago, for those who didn't know.

Only got some novels of MechWarrior world, but didn't play PnP of it. (not my kind of setting :P )
But TBH I didn't know it to be a PnP RPG too :)

I mostly make Street Sams, but my dearest one was one troll fixer wannabe tank with minor bio and some chrome :)
But I played only 2nd ed, and mostly was the DM, so my char was rather a passive, only-for-the-entertainment addition. :)
And you?

I mostly play as Adepts or Magicians, but my top 1 will be always the Decker cyber enchanced with a nice sniper rifle, will always love how one time the DM hate my ways to resolve encounters with enemies... withouth the encounter, just the headshot from far away... "im just a guy with a high tech keyboard in the arm, how do you think i can fight enemies head on?" xD

Haha :D DM should be prepared for this :P Not the ordinary level of mob-handling. Maybe you'll get a one-on-one sniper game one day... :D
My worst decker experience was one always saying "I don't go on site in person"...it was harder to get everyone enjoy the game, when I had to make the separate thread for him all the time :) Eventually he had to get out of the armored van ^_^

Lol, i need to play again xD Maybe there is are online sites were i can join a sesion D:
My worst decker experience were my first time, i though i was badass choosing some magics while i keep getting cyber enchances, omg, i was soo noob xD But worse was a time when i play as Shaman and tried to summon a fire elemental from a fire source, it seems that there is a slight chance the elemental go wild if you dont have enough stats to control it... xD

Ever played any SR MUDs? I think it is called Awake2062 MUD. There was another one, Awakenedworlds or what, but that was shut down eventually.
I loved it, because regardless of the fix world, where you can roam around and roleplay with other players or just do the scripted runs from AI Johnsons, and buy stuff, etc., there were DMs too, creating runs, and playing it via text only.

If you don't mind type-only game, do it. It has a special feeling, and DMs are present almost all the time. They supervise the players too: my first character there got some heavy armor on himself at start, I got contacted by a DM after 5 minutes of play, telling to take off and pack that assault armor, because it's not really realistic that you walk around wearing it in the open...and it might happen that a team of Lone Star SWAT stops next to me :P
So you really need to roleplay there :)
