The hole is deeper than you thought. Time seems to slow as you fall before landing abruptly with a sickening crunch. Dazed, you stumble to your feet. No broken bones, thankfully. Well, none of your bones are broken - as your eyes adjust to the dark, you see what cushioned your fall. A pile of bones lies by your feet, now mostly shattered into pieces.
You take a few steps away from the unnerving mess you made, footsteps echoing through the dark. The floor beneath you seems to be made of solid stone, and marble columns rise up on either side. Even now after your eyes have adjusted, you can't see more than a meter or so in front of your face. Glancing up, you can just barely make out the hole you fell through. You're not getting back up there without a ladder.

Confession: this was supposed to be today's cart, but after double checking the region locks and realizing it won't activate in, like, half the world, I figured it might work better as a little side bonus instead. Pony Island should be good for everyone, though.

Nothing to worry. It was free on EGS, but about 4 years ago

These are some interesting games. Thank you for the train! More variety than I was expecting.

Pick up a long bone, wrap the ragged cloth around it, light it as the torch and examine walls closely, looking for hidden passages.

You prowl along the cold stone hallway, stopping every once in a while to poke and prod at the walls. You notice that one section of the wall sounds hollow when you knock the bone against it. You push against it with all your might, and after a few moments it gives way. You find yourself in an uncomfortably small room. Itβs completely bare aside from a little wooden stool in its center, upon which sits a bright red apple. A slab of wood lies next to it.
As you move closer, you see letters carved into the wood. The words DO NOT have been hastily scratched out, and the word EAT is underlined.

Well obviously that message applies to something else, because as my friend Eve keeps telling me nothing bad ever happened to anyone who takes a nice free juicy apple......π

Either the apple is poisoned or someone wants it badly; anyway it seems like a good idea to take it with me.
It may come useful for trading with Eve or getting rid of some monster like, I don't know, giant appleworm maybe?
Examine the apple, take it and keep searching for a way out (or more treasures).
