That ^ Reading minds would be such a curse unless you could mentally opt-out of it whenever you aren't up for it. Another things is even loved ones think potentially hurtful thoughts about us sometimes. Doesn't mean they all lie about loving us, it's just that everyone has bad days. But what would happen if you could hear those thoughts? Would you be able to ignore and move on from them, or just will yourself to not listen in at all regularly? If yes then mind reading would be extremely powerful, even more so than teleporting imho just for all of the applications where it could be used.

Well seems like there will be two sides this time as I am joining stoner's side.
Reading minds for me, not that I care what people think, but because you can do anything with these knowledge. Teleporting is usefull thing, but I can travel even without it and with reading minds you won't care about money as you can predict a lot of things even before it happen.

Teleport is only useful if you want to avoid transport.
Reading Minds... When you are a police/military/spy, this is a clear choice.
But the latter can be frustrating.
I recall a movie about teleporters, that used it to steal money from banks etc.
Both can be very bad for humanity.

I have thought a lot of all the superpowers heroes have etc. and come to the conclusion: Power corrupts and brings you in charge of 'moral' so it's best, nothing of that exist.

what would be the advantage of reading other minds? Not enough people have secret stashes and blackmailing is going a bit too far. For the occassional trading it would be good, but most of the time it would seem annoying to me. So it will definitely be teleporting for me. Enjoy your day :D

I was about to say read minds because it would be in the end more useful, but teleporting would do a lot for you without any major drawback. Also reading minds might be a curse as well... I still say reading minds would have the most usefulness... the possibilities are basically endless. But it would be a blessing and a curse where as teleporting, so long as you can't zip yourself onto the moon or in a campfire by mistake, would probably be the most fun and have the fewest downsides. If you are okay with being able to hear all the negative thoughts people have towards you though, then mind reading would be much much better.

Reading minds would be disturbing, because I would know what's on your mind, and honestly, it isn't pretty ^^
Teleporting would be great, but with some boundaries of course... sfw e.g. you should not be able to teleport in a bank late at night or in a woman's room.
Also, not sure if your question is about a "superpower" or with a device. Because as a superpower, well, OK, but as a device, a teleporting machine would require a S* load of energy, so people claiming "gas savings" is pretty much irrelevant xD

Technically, a teleporting device should need more power than a particle collider, so...
But yes, even as a "superpower", I'll go for teleporting (assuming you can go anywhere minus the boundaries I claimed in my first post).

Superpower would mean special ability, which, well, you don't need "license" to move around.
