You should know that it's against the rules to ask for votes for your greenlight games, I'm not reporting you but someone else might, so I suggest that you remove that part from your description :)

I've read the "Terms of Service" and it makes no mention of it. Mostly it says not to lure people to Third party websites through click bait. I figured as long as we are upfront about it, it would be fine? It does say that self promotion is allowed as long as we have the rights to the promoted work? So we figured, if they liked it they'll vote, otherwise we'll give away a great game by a great developper anyway.

It says "copies of my game" I'd still be careful about it tho, if you think you may actually be allowed to, as opposite as my own opinion, you could try asking valve support directly so you have no doubt about it, anyways is up to you, thanks for amking this giveaway, I'm neither voting yes or not in your game tho.

Our view on it for now is: We don't really ask you for anything. In the sense that you don't get more (or less) out of us if you didn't vote (as opposed to saying "We'll give you this game if you vote for it, and ONLY if you vote for it). Mostly we thought this was a great place to promote since it's mostly gamers and Steam users.. If someone doesn't like our game, it won't affect their chances of getting the GiveAway. If it was the case, we wouldn't be doing it.
And I appreciate your help in this. I'll definitly get more info.
And it really doesn't matter (and is quite alright!) if you voted or not, We wouldn't want anyone to be tricked into voting.

Yes I totally understand your point about this place being ideal for promoting your game, althought I wouldn't like to see it being taken down or something (it has happened before), but as I said before, I'm not completely sure about Valve's stand in this matter, they have said something about giving about 'keys to your own game', so it may be okay, but I still feel you shouldn't be saying 'You would help us greatly by voting "YES"!' as it can be interpreted in other ways, maybe a better way yto put it would be "You would help us greatly by looking at our game's Greenlight page"?
Also, votes aren't all that's needed to get a game greenlit, you can read that on the Greenlight FAQ page as well if I'm not wrong.
Anyway, I hope your game actually gets greenlit, best of luck to you guys.
