Power Rangers. Before the modern-day superhero craze, the Japanese had their own "superheroes" that appealed mainly to children -- but not to adults like y'all see in the West today -- and Power Rangers was one of them. They were localized for American audiences and the TV series went on for seemingly a dozen years or so.
