I was unaware of that, anyway you get a point, stop complaining.
It is ONLY free if you have those cards, some people are on laptops, macs, or just Intel cards in general. Those people cannot get it for free.

Also the version you buy from steam gomes with the SDK so you can use Garrys Mod with it where as the free versions don't.
just an added note, the SDK comes with ANY source game if you pay for it and not get it free via a promotion such as the ones listed in the first post.
