I can't really say the exact meaning cause I'm not the best at explaining, but I'm saying how the person who made the giveaway had (I believe) said it was a free copy, or even now is implying it's a free copy. At the time of this post, it was true, but my post is saying how the host says it will be a free copy before 4000 people entered and not it's not a guaranteed free copy, like the post says.
TL:DR it's like saying something about the end result or a later result without knowing what it'll be and (sometimes) having it kick you in the face

It's just something like "Oh, this game will be awesome!" "Inb4 it sucks" Basically, you or someone else says something that may happen and then you put an "inb4". Neither has to be correct. For example, the "Game will be awesome!" might be the end result, or the "Inb4 it sucks" or maybe in between. It's just sorta a saying. If we ended up with, say, 3956 entries, the host would be able to say something like "lol didn't happen" or "ur wrong" or whatever really. Since it did go over 4000, my 'prediction' that it'd go over 4000 thus "inb4 more then 4000 entries" was correct. It's not really something that important, it's internet slang

Which is exactly why I took so long to write a semi paragraph for both responses

Just to be clear, it's free regardless of how many entries it has.
I may be misinterpreting your intent, but if you're stating otherwise, then there's an inaccurate understanding of the word "free" occurring; In the current phrasing it's being used as "guaranteed" rather than "not requiring payment", which isn't a valid usage for the word. Simply put, every standard giveaway on this site is a free raffle, in contrast to being a paid raffle. Entry count doesn't affect that in any way.

I know it's free, but the implications as stated implies that you can come and grab a copy, which means guaranteed. Also, I believe I said in one of my posts that I thought it said free copy at one point, which further my joke, but even without that, the "Get your copy of the game here!" is basically saying it's a 100% chance. Had it said "Here's your chance to get a copy", it wouldn't be a guarantee and thus I wouldn't make a joke about it.

Ah, because it's a raffle, rather than a first-come-first-serve, where you'd more typically see the "Get a copy" phrasing.
Yeah, "= not guaranteed" would definitely have made your point a lot clearer than "= not free".
Either way, you're right, something along the lines of "here's your chance" would indeed have been more appropriate phrasing.
