I tried to activate the key and it is coming up that the key has already been activated by another account

error is:
"DuplicateActivationCode"

Not sure how you want to proceed with this since I am unable to redeem the key since it seems someone has already redeemed the key at one point or another, but please do let me know!

Well 7 days has now come and still no word from the guy, have tried both on here and trying to reach out to him on steam.. so marking this as not recieved..
