Hey :) Allow me the question: are you giving the gift link from HumbleBundle or will this be an already generated key? Because German users will not be able to activate the key, but will sure be able to generate a restricted key from the gift link that can be activated in my country.
Huh, I didn't know that. In any case, yes, the winner will get a link to humblebundle.com to generate the key themselves. For German users, though, I don't know if that means it'll generate a key for the cut German version, or just generate a normal key that will be impossible to redeem. Hopefully, that won't happen, but if it does, I'll be sure to provide a new gift to the winner.
You don't need to be worried. I once witnessed a trade for that game where a German user tried to activate a key generated from the HB, which didn't work, but later managed to trade a gift link, so he could generate the key himself, which seemed to generate a German version for him, because this one worked.
