It appears you'll need to walk me through this. I was under the fragile impression that clicking "sent" when your name appeared as the winner was all that was needed of me. Was that a false indication of something I've yet to do; and if so, how do I send games by either means? If a Friend-Invite is needed, I've just now taken that step.
