It is indeed "supposed" to be like the old ones. I sadly purchased the mockery that was X rebirth(preordered collectors edition) as I loved all the old X games. I was shocked at what I received and refused to pay for x4 since I felt like I was ripped off.
OP Thanks for the giveaway, I really want X4 but I'm to salty about X rebirth to buy it. So thanks to you I have a shot at getting it.

I played X3 for almost 400h and had so much fun with it.
