Interesting ideas let down by poor execution, resulting in clunky combat, poor stories and writing, and meaningless choices. Unless you have time to kill, they just don't seem worth it.
GreedFall seems pretty janky too, with a definite lack of polish, but the combat seems decent and the story and writing seem actually good. But you have it, so presumably you'll be able to try it out and report back, right? :)

I've received a couple of respec items so far but don't know if they were random drops or quest rewards or whatever. So if you end up with a crap build it looks like you'll be able to fix it or try something else. :)
Also, if you find equipment with +1 to some stat, keep it. :) Maybe something else would work better in a fight, but there are a lot of dialogue options / locked chests / whatever, and every point you save there can be spent somewhere else. :)
Oh, it seems like it's a good idea to get a little bit of everything, rather than pour all your points into one thing right away. Unlock a chest, jump across a gap, climb something, different dialogue options, that sort of thing. I don't know if there are enough level ups or bonus points or stat-boosting equipment to max out everything by the end of the game. Oh well. :)
There's bound to be a couple stinkers in here, but we won't know which until people can start playing them... :) I guess Bad Rats would have been safer, we already know what sort of game that is...
