Because the only way you can play most of their games is if you install and use Uplay, even if you buy the game on steam. It sucks that pirates get to enjoy their games without the need to install third-party software but legit owners of the game are forced to use that crap.

I usually avoid entering giveaways for games with Uplay but since I loved the first two games in the series I'll make this an exception. For Far Cry 3 I wouldn't mind installing and tolerating that crap.
