If Wikipedia is right, this game has its source code (I am not sure if assetts) available for free, so technically anyone with a compiler and an Internet connection could play it or even mod it. I am not sure, I didn't check. But hey, it's alwaysfeel better to have stuff on Steam, so there's that.
