When you mention it, yeah it might not be clearly stated in the FAQ. It gives a change to check if the winner obeys the rules/doesn't have a majority of a pack etc. As SG lacks automatic abuse detection it's the only time to verify if everything is ok with the winner. Only mass developer GAs of 50+(I'm not sure if this is the correct number) copies are handled over automatically.

Generally the rules state that the GA creator has a week to deliver the prize. Most often it won't take that long, but sometimes due to various reasons there might be delays and as long as the creator didn't state otherwise in the description it's best to simply wait patiently for them to contact you/unlock the key(as far as I remember the notification starts blinking when the key is available).
No offence taken, it obviously was caused by the lack of information about how the site works, but like I said even if the key was added to the GA the process still requires manual confirmation, so be warned as posts like the first one are considered rude and may lead you to being blacklisted.
