Yup, the hypocrisy is infuriating. I want the best for the people of Ukraine, of course, and what's going on there IS terrible...but come on. People care because they're TOLD to care. They didn't care the last eight years what was going on in Ukraine and, as you say, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Libya either. Or Somalia, Afghanistan, and so many more.

Also, Ukraine is NOT the forefront of democracy; far, far from it. I'm pro-Ukrainian people, but their government is a joke, and they've been committing their own atrocities and oppression. Also, there's the issues with all the Nazis. Although at least we get good memes, like NATO's official account accidentally tweeting out a female Nazi for women's day, or the Ukrainian Nazis waving swastikas, black suns, SS's and...NATO flags?
