The problem isn't that people don't read the description, is that they don't even know there's one, if they automate entries through the use of autojoin scripts or bots.
That said, it's a quirky method, best used with forum giveaways.

Auto-join scripts are not allowed on this site, so such users may be in for some trouble if they don't activate, and even more trouble if they do and report that they didn't. In any case, if I don't try I'll never know ;-)

While I know that they're heavily frowned upon (I hate them with a fiery passion), and that there was a recent influx of bans for using them, I fear that well made ones couldn't be easily detected...
I even had one user enter my giveaway the exact same moment it was available, go figure...
The sad truth is that many people consider this site as nothing more than a venue to get free games, just like Gleam...
Take a moment to look at the entrants, and look at their ratios, there're some bad ones; also consider that I've seen worse, like a user with almost 350 wins, no gives, and a Steam library of 1500+ games worth over $4000...
Sorry for the rant, I get too emotional when talking about certain things...

I sometimes feel bad that I can not give as much as I would like my account may be worth 4k but a huge part of that is bundle games....

Don't worry, your ratio isn't too bad...
When I say "bad ratio", I mean several hundreds of won gifts with few or none sent.
Like the aforementioned user for example, he has a library worth almost $5000, almost 350 wins, and didn't give anything, not even a $0.02 game.
