Inferred storytelling is one of my favorite things in gaming. It's one of the reasons I love Fallout games, because there is so much to explore and you get to see people's last moments together. It puts into perspective what they valued most at the very end.

I have definitely noticed the very unusual mix of games, and I like hybrid games, and stuff that's a bit off the beaten path. It's refreshing to me in a gaming world that seems to be dominated by the same old FPS style games over and over that sell millions of copies, but they are basically a carbon copy of previous installments, and bring nothing very new to the table... I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it, and people keep buying them, so there is no reason to do anything different as far as those go. Keep putting out mediocre material, and let it sell out again and again and again... I guess this philosophy works for the music industry as well, so it is what it is.
