Since Steam doesn't send DLC ownership data through the public version of its API (versus the private version you use when you sign in directly to community, SGT, the first time you signed up to SG, etc), there's no way for SG to access DLC ownership data, meaning any content with at least one DLC in it won't ever* be detectable as owned through SG.
* (At least it's not likely to ever change, as there's a lot of issues with using the private version long-term on any site, given its instabilities [for example, it typically logs me out within 2 hours, and has logged me out within 2 minutes before], additional resource pull, etc. There is however a notable exception of SG being able to detect DLCs and packages with DLCs that are won through SG, as SG can just check its own internal information for those, and thereby can detect them properly through that.)
If you'd like a more reliable detecting of DLC ownership, you could check through the various userscripts for SG to find one that offers DLC detection (by linking to your Steam Community login, and its more detailed API information access). ESGST is the bulky swiss-army-knife of those, and thereby's sure to have the function in question, though you could also try and look for a more streamlined alternative.
TL;DR version, SG'll never detect DLCs or any packages containing even one DLC, unless you won that DLC or package through SG, or you apply a userscript to integrate a more detailed information call than the one SG has access to.
