Hi there, I have a special favour to ask of those of you who are interested. My friend is a variety streamer trying to reach the last goal of October and she's not too far off. It would mean a lot to her and especially myself if any of you are interested follow and join in some streams! Were you the person who flew a little too close to the sun and typed the country Niger in an attempt to be funny at a question that wouldn't make sense if you were talking about the country?
If not then your name was probably put through a bot search on twitchbots.info and it came up that you were a bot.
If it was none of these then I can't say much, I can advertise who I wish as it's my friend and the moderators don't tend to ban people who haven't done something or flag the bot search.

It's not about anyone else but yourself my dude.
Your name is on the twitch bot thing as you happened to be in over 2k people's channels at one time. And using such "lame tools" protects audience members from more severe twitch bots.
There's multiple different kinds I'm sure you know of.
The ones that sit in people's channels to make people click on their name either out of annoyance or curiosity to then be forwarded to their channel who is hosting the actual channel they want the views to go to, farming views for channels.
The ones that IP grab...
The ones that do other malicious things.
There's lots of different kinds.
Idk what bot you've been flagged as, and I'm sorry if you have if you're genuinely not. But as a moderator the duty is to do the best we can to moderate channels as we see fit. And in that we take into account the safety of the audience and the streamer and ban these bots before they have a chance to do their damage.
Since Hossbot, Twitch API leakage and a severe influx of IP grabbing bots, you can see why if your name is on the bot list (Which it really looks like a bot seen as your account was in 2k people's channels) we're not taking chances.
So really, it doesn't matter if you spoke at all, as these bots can do damage too without even interacting.
It happened, shut up, move on.
You didn't win, try again next time, it's one streamer in a sea of oversaturated content.
It's not such a big problem that only ONE STREAMER has done this to you. (Unless it's not just one streamer, and this is a common thing for you.)

I'm signed to 12 channels (from 30 to 20 000 followers). I'm active on 3-4 of them (from 200 to 20 000 followers). The rest is just for looking smth from time to time. Moderation of all this channels are accomplishing their duties instead trusting the streamer's reputation to the reputational services. You don't know, how much audience you've lost thanks to it. I've wrote false positive report to twitchbots.info and I'm suddenly dissapeared from their lists

No, maybe we don't. But we certainly know how many bots we've gotten rid of, we can go back and check and see their auto-hosting empire <3
