I'm getting seriously worried that this is something that needs to be shouted as less and less people seem to comprehend this sentence.

I've sent people their winning via steam and then noticed several months later that they did not accept the game and have given bad feedback.
I've managed to correct this twice - but honestly once I've sent a gift I usually don't follow up. - because hey, I'm not the one who just won a free game.
I've had good luck and communication myself when GETTING a game though.

This is why I tend to do only gift links for public giveaways now. I can tell if it was revealed or not.
