Despite what you mention in your description, the winner has 7 days to accept your gift, they don't have to do it the very first day. Which means, even if they appear a couple of days after the GA is finished and the Steam sales are over, you would still have to give them the gift. And then, they might agree to let you delete the GA if you ask them, but they're not obligated to do so. You would end up with the GA marked as "Not Received" if you don't provide the gift during that period they have.

This is a really nice giveaway, (especially as your first!), but gifting from Steam these days is fraught with risk. It's not about region restrictions, it's about price difference. Steam will not allow you to gift to someone in a region where the price is more than 10% of what you are paying. You can check regional prices on SteamDb - you will see that you will not be able to gift to anyone in Europe (from the U.S.). Also if you can't gift due to region restrictions, support will not grant you a re-roll and you will have to delete the giveaway (if winner approves) or accept a "Not Received".

In addition, as mentioned by RiderOfPhoenix above, you have left less than 24 hours from the end of your giveaway to the end of the sale. Not everyone checks SG even everyday, so there is a good chance you will not be able to gift this before the end of the sale. Also if you have to re-roll for any reason, that adds more time delay.

Yeah, like someone was saying to be safe you basically need to have a giveaway end while there's still 7 days left in a sale. And even then reroll could mess that up, so to really be safe you have to decide what you want to give almost as soon as a sale starts.

Fwiw I'll try to remember to check SG shortly after the giveaway ends.
