one of my favorite sayings is "you don't have to be an asshole every day."
though it's called SteamGifts, one shouldn't be concerned solely with the giveaways; one should not not care about descriptions to the point of simply "bumping." if you've nothing to say regarding whatever the giver says, that's fine, but only "bumping" (imo, which this whole paragraph is - my idealistic opinion, which i will refute for you here) demonstrates nothing but lack of care; i just blacklisted a popular, high-level member of SteamGifts because i grew tired of seeing their standard spam of "Thanks" in every gib they entered, never even bothering to acknowledge the description when there is one.
say all that to say: thanks and sorry for insisting that the community acts as such; no threat of blacklist anymore.

I always read the descriptions but I just don't know what to write, I have null social skills. I can write the typical "I hope you get better" or something like that, but is it going to fix something?, I doubt so, my words are worth nothing.
I obviously hope he gets better, and not only him, everyone have problems and everyone deserve to be better, but I can't change anything.

nope, i understand perfectly and feel the same way; despite English being my main language, such situations are always hard to try and think of what to say. but... y'know... you might think "of course i wish for to be better," but if you don't actually indicate as such, it probably won't be conveyed. it's not my place to chastise of course, i just explain my position.
words are not worth nothing, though; to be isolated when hurt is a terrible thing, and even repeated instances of "i hope you get better" is itself better than nothing (if it's said from the heart).
we're all going to die one day; why not try to make each other's lives a little brighter?

IMO nope, you asked explicitly to at least bump the thread and it's your gib, so you're free to do whatever you want. You don't have to justify your actions to the fullest and even if it was a misunderstanding from one or both parties - it will clear itself up sooner or later. And I had a nice laugh out of it ;D.
Why not? You don't try to promote yourself but to bring awareness to a seriously underestimated/overlooked condition. If Surfpup doesn't want you to, he can inform you of that and you can then act accordingly.
you know the peace sign? like the upside down Y? that is what aortic valve looks like - three segments. aortic valve is one of the doorways in the heart that regulates bloodflow. my aortic valve only has two segments, so it's always leaking, and they tell me i will probably have aneurysm eventually, so always have to go for regular check-ups, especially since i have family history of such things. i attach an illustration
