Hi, everyone. spiregg is an independent game dev studio in Georgia working on a hidden object game called Find Us Cats featuring our favorite feline friends! 😸
In addition to serving as a hidden object game, you can choose to paint, draw, or color in the levels and create your own art based on ours. There is a demo of the game's two modes currently on Steam and itch featuring level 1, the Planetarium. 🪐

when windowed, option for 1920x1080 is hidden, is that by design?
pressing 'toggle full screen' button feels like my mouse have a double click, 'vsync' and 'run in background' button are fine though
opening control window and closing it give you main menu overlay, and when you press play/paint it will stuck on '100% Loaded'

paint mode

a dedicated zoom tool or slider would be great, having to scroll multiple time to have a small zoom is tiring
not gonna lie, I play this mode first and didn't know i can move my screen with WASD
maybe make it unlockable after finishing the map? because the layer give player a clue where the cats are

Yes, when windowed you cannot select a full screen resolution.
Toggling full screen requires a refresh, which is why it takes longer. The others are easier to do in the background.
Thanks for the bug report. I don't think we tried changing the controls from painting before. We will work on fixing the bug. I think the code just expects you to be in the main menu, so we will add detection for which scene you are in.
One of our next main tasks is to add a basic tutorial and controls primer for all modes. Sorry, for the lack of convenient instructions in the current build.
We thought about making painting mode unlockable, but we wanted people who are only interested in painting to be able to try the demo too.
